This was one of a couple of locations for Willies Fair. This was at the corner of Church & Records St. Later the business relocated to S. Salisbury Blvd just north of Salisbury University.
My Dad took me there as a young lad to view all of the World War Two surplus that was available for virtually give away prices. Too bad I could not have stocked up and sold those items years later, when they had become rare and high priced!! Missed opportunities are my biggest regrets in life.
Went there a lot. All I bought, though, was a flashlight with a rounded lens to put light on your steps at night without drawing as much attention as a regular flashlight. Also bars of soup guaranteed to lather in fresh water or salt water hard or soft water. Cost eight cents each.
Building still standing. On Church Street. Was an army surplus store
